Why Cycle to the Match?


Cycling not only reduces traffic congestion and pollution, it also promotes a healthier lifestyle. By cycling to matches, you’ll be part of a community that shares a passion for the Club and a commitment to the environment.

How Does It Work?


- Simply sign up to the Manchester City Love To Ride site.

- Before you can begin tracking your journeys you will need to download the Love To Ride app which will automatically track any bike rides you go on. You can find out more information and where to download the app here.

Signed Shirt Competition


Win A Signed Team Shirt

For the remaining home games of the 2024/25 season there will be a competition running for supporters to be in with a chance of winning a squad signed home shirt. The supporter who finishes the season at the top of the leaderboard will be crowned winner.

The competition will take place over the following home fixtures –

- Crystal Palace – Saturday 12th April (12:30 KO)

- Aston Villa – Tuesday 22nd April (20:00 KO)

- Wolverhampton – Friday 2nd May (20:00 KO)

- AFC Bournemouth - Sunday 18th May (Date subject to change)

Bike Storage


For fans wishing to take part there are over 300 bike storage spaces across the Etihad Campus. The largest storage facility is underneath the Nexen Tyre Bridge near Ashton New Road and on Joe Mercer Way and there are additional storage facilities outside of the East and West Stands and around the wider Etihad Campus.

Bicycle Helmets can be brought into the stadium subject to security searches and kept in a small bag or under your seat.

TFGM Starling Bank Bikes


Across Manchester city centre, Trafford and Salford, the Starling Bank Bikes provide fans with a cheap, convenient and quick option for travelling to the stadium, these can also be used for your Love to Ride journeys, with several docking stations across the Etihad Campus, more information about these and the bikes can be found here.
