Nathan CaldwellA was home and B was home and in between was the veterinarian's office where I picked up prescription for one of our beagles. It was a lovely day to ride Mostly sunny wirba modest wind and temp of 55°F/12°C🚲🌥
Nathan CaldwellDidn't think I'd ride today, but the 40-45 mph/65 kph wind gusts backed off to a steady 17mph/27 kph, so I got in an abbreviated Tour de Neighborhood Nord just after official sunset and before our next rain event!🚲🌬🌥🌧
Nathan CaldwellThanks Rob...took yesterday off riding and instead went to the 10,000 sandhill cranes resting during their northern migration near here. It's an auditory and visual spectacle! Their call is quite striking.
Rob WormaldAmerican 1,2 at the end of the Paris-Nice race yesterday. Even better, the winner was Sheffield🤣
RB BB Sounds amazing to experience,10k of sandhill cranes!
Nathan CaldwellClear and cool after yesterday's rain, but windy! By 6 pm the gusts were still 25 mph/40 kph at 52°F/11°C, but I managed a fun with wind and fitness against it ride!🌬🌬🚲(verified by stairs and cars!)
Nathan CaldwellThanks Mary! No bothersome hip for me, so no excuse not to ride!
Mary FoleyGood for you, Nathan, battling that wind to get in a workout. ;)
Nathan CaldwellMy friend got his bike back yesterday, and we headed out earlier than normal to try and beat the forecast rain, and managed to get 2/3 of the ride in before the rain overtook us! Fortunately the temp was 54F/12C, with calm winds, so were got back to his place just damp and not cold! 🚲🌧️ Glad we didn't wait as it's rained all afternoon, a rarity in our desert!🌵
Rob WormaldRain isn’t too bad if it’s not cold and windy (which it is here). Especially when it’s an infrequent occurrence (which it isn’t here)😂
Nathan CaldwellYes...now (13th Mar) it is cooler and quite blustery but more rain Friday and through the weekend.
Nathan CaldwellSqueezed in a quick Tour de Neighborhood Nord just beforenour uch later Daylight Savings Time sunset ! Temp of 52°F/11°C was colder than the last few days, signaling a forecast cool down! 🥶
On Indian roads it is expected that a driver/rider of any motor vehicle will use their horn as a warning to others for almost any traffic maneuver! Right Simon?
