Nathan CaldwellHopefully it will one of your rides to nowhere, and you'll be outside soon! Thanks for the high fives!
Mary FoleyFab Friday Spin π΄
Legs felt much better today so pushed a bit to finish 13.5 miles. π€
Steve BestGreat to see you progress with your recovery. I could be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised to see metric 100s in June.... Just don't overdo it.
RB BB Well done Mary. Glad you are feeling motivated! ππ
Simon GreenJust noticed your 10 weeks are up. I wish you some great Spring sunshine for your first outdoor rideππππ²
Mary FoleyThank you, Simon! 10 weeks is the amount of time the doctor wanted me to maintain the "hip precautions" to prevent dislocation of the hardware. I thought I would be ready for outdoor riding at that point. Unfortunately, I am not quite there yet. Hopefully, soon. The weather is quite pleasant at the moment, so indoor riding is less and less appealing. Fingers crossed that I am back outside soon! XX ;)
Simon GreenYou'll know, I'm sure, when it's okay to get out and ride in the fresh air. Just have to be patient but it's tough when the sunshine is beckoning! xxx
Nathan CaldwellPreventing any "hardware dislocations" inside your body is a wise move at this point in your amazing journey ey of recovery!
Mary FoleyOne Hour! π΄
This was a mental battle as well as physical. Rainy weather meant no outdoor walk today, so I decided to do some extra pedaling. 14.2 miles. π€
Steve BestGreat effort. When doing 10 miles on the turbo I did time checks and visualised where I would be on the local 10mTT course.
tim lisleGreat stuff Mary, keep working hard. Saw you post on Nathans about taking the plunge...I thought Nathan had succumbed to it. Its my quest to get more people doing it. Once tried (well maybe it takes a few times, the first is just a shock!) you really get the bug
Mary FoleyClipped in Ride! π΄
Decided it was time to clip into both pedals. No issue unclipping! Really helped to power my pedal stroke. 12.1 miles at 14.6, cadence 88. π€
Nathan CaldwellWay to move to the next level, Mary!π You've earned your thsankas and rewrads for the day!
